My name is Timothy Thorpe and I am a passionate creative who wears multiple hats while currently working full-time in Marketing. In 2019, I successfully completed a Masters of Marketing Communications via The University of Melbourne and began developing a budding portfolio of professional experience.
Prior to this, my undergraduate studies include the completion of a Bachelor of Arts (Communications Studies) in 2017, and a Diploma of Information Technology (IT) in 2014. Upon receiving my Diploma of IT from Victoria University, I decided to further my studies and change pathways, by combining my newly developed tech skills with a Communications Major at La Trobe University.
Here I developed my passion for writing and was given an opportunity to work as the co-editor for the university’s online publication, upstart Magazine.

Outside of my academic learning, I am the founder/publicist of my own online publication The Local Frequency (TLF) – a platform dedicated to shining a light on all of Melbourne’s most talented and emerging new artists. Using this platform I have achieved many personal accomplishments, these include; publishing over 500 articles, sponsoring local events, and premiering an array of exclusive releases.
Now at 25-years-of-age I am experienced in writing, editing, photography, graphic/web design, marketing, public relations and media production.
